I am a professional wildlife photographer, traveler, explorer and guide to the land of the snow leopard.
I have been studying and researching snow leopards for over 25 years and have been photographing these amazing animals for over 20 years. I travel a lot in the land of the snow leopard, I travel around the world, observe, photograph and publish photos on my website, as well as organize photo expeditions and educational tours to India, the Himalayas.
I consider it my goal to convey a deep love for nature and endangered species of animals - snow leopards, to make all other people fall in love with them!

Lobzang Visuddha

He owns the Ancient Tracks Travel Company based in Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh. Ancient Tracks specializes in Wildlife Tourism, especially Snow Leopard sighting tours to Ladakh. Since a decade he has lead and organized many a snow leopard and wildlife tours to Ladakh. His clients range from domestic tourists from all over India and international tourists from Europe, mostly France and Germany.
Lobzang Visuddha is a well know wildlife enthusiast from Ladakh and is the founder Chairman of Wildlife Conservation and Birds Club of Ladakh (WCBCL), a local Non Government Organization (NGO) working for the conservation of Ladakh’s rich wildlife, especially the Birds of Ladakh and presently he also holds the post of Chairman of Wildlife Tour Operators Association (WTOA), Leh Ladakh. WTOA, Leh is an association of wildlife tour operators of Ladakh and aims to regularize wildlife tourism in the region to give wholesome experience to wildlife tourist to Ladakh. He has co-author of the fist book on Birds of Ladakh with contributions from local wildlife photographer. The book – “A comprehensive account of the BIRDS OF LADAKH, Note, Commentrary and Field Guide” is available online on Amazon and Flipcart. He is also one of the Editors of the first ever magazine on Wildlife and Nature of Ladakh titled Jungwa.

Dorje Chitta

Mr. Dorjey Chitta, popularly known in the circle of Snow Leopard experts in Ladakh as Acho Chitta (Elder Brother) has been in the business of tracking snow leopard almost since 3 decades. He has led snow leopard treks, snow leopard tracking, snow leopard study, snow leopard filming and snow leopard research groups with reputed naturalists and snow leopard photographers from all parts of the world. He is our main inspiration and force behind making Snow Leopard Tours to Ladakh, a great success.
His valuable inputs and suggestions in tailoring programs and snow leopard tracking itineraries resulted in 100% successful snow leopard spotting.
During his long career as Naturalist, he has worked for BBC, BBC Human Planet, Discovery, National Geographic, Natural History (New Zealand), and ICON Film many other TV channels and other leading Wildlife and Nature Filming companies from UK, USA, New Zealand, South Africa and India. American Wildlife photographer Mr. Steve Winter is one among many popular wildlife photographers he had worked with and assisted.
